MANDEVILLE, La. (AP) - A 33-year-old office manager at a Mandeville dental office has been arrested, accused of stealing more than $99,000 from the practice.

NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune reports (https://bit.ly/1m2e6Qi ) Katie Lykins was arrested Friday on 210 counts of unauthorized use of an access card, 30 counts of forgery and one count each of theft, money laundering, identity theft and fraud. It was unknown if she has an attorney who could comment on the case.

A news release from the Mandeville Police Department says Lykins was hired in September 2010 to perform several duties including paying bills and handling other financial matters. In September, she took maternity leave and another employee found suspicious financial accounting.

An investigation revealed that Lykins had apparently been paying her mortgage and other personal expenses with funds from the practice.
