MUNCIE, Ind. (AP) - Reggie McAdams scored 15 points, Antino Jackson had 14 and Akron pulled way down the stretch for a 73-64 win over Ball State on Saturday.

Johnson added 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting for the Zips (17-4, 6-2 Mid-American), who made 10 of 24 3-pointers and shot 52 percent overall.

Tyler had 18 points and Bo Calhoun 15 for the Cardinals (13-8, 4-4), who shot 51 percent, including 12 of 25 behind the arc against the NCAA leader that was limiting opponents to 26.1 percent.

McAdams had a layup and 3-pointer on consecutive possessions to start Akron on a 14-4 run that produced a 39-28 lead at the half.
