JERSEY CITY, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey prosecutor says a 4-year-old boy who fell out of a fifth-story window at an apartment building in Jersey City has died.

Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez tells NJ.com (https://bit.ly/1TuoNIL ) that the boy fell from the sixth-story building on Saturday afternoon and was found in the parking lot. She says he was taken to Jersey City Medical Center-Barnabas Health and pronounced dead shortly after 3 p.m.

Her office is investigating the death.
