ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - New York is making $11 million in grants available to help farms protect water quality.
The grants are designed to help farmers implement water management practices that protect local watersheds. The grants are awarded to County Soil and Water Conservation Districts for farm programs like agricultural waste storage systems and conservation cover crops.
