HOUSTON (AP) - Anthony Odunsi hit a free throw in the final seconds to give Houston Baptist its 10th-straight win with a 70-69 victory over Sam Houston State on Saturday night.

The Huskies (14-7, 8-0 Southland Conference) led 69-66 late in the game when Sam Houston State’s Dakarai Henderson sank a 3-pointer to tie it up at 69 with 14 seconds to play. With three seconds left, Odunsi went to the line for two and hit the first to give the Huskies the winning edge. They remain undefeated in conference.

Houston Baptist went on top 21-8 midway through the first half and led 35-33 at the break.

Odunsi finished with 12 points, five rebounds and four assists for the Huskies. Colter Lasher and Reveal Chukwujekwu scored 14 points apiece and Alex Fountain had 11.

Henderson scored 16 points for the Bearkats (11-11, 6-3). Jamal Williams and Jovante’ Spivey added 14 apiece.
