LOS LUNAS, N.M. (AP) - An overnight manhunt for a Los Lunas couple wanted in connection with a homicide has ended.

New Mexico State Police say officers and U.S. marshals located 43-year-old Ronald Shane Foster and 49-year-old Renee Foster around 1 a.m. Saturday.

Sgt. Elizabeth Armijo says both were arrested Tuesday for possession of explosive materials and awaiting federal charges.

Search warrants used in the arrests led to agents finding the body of 30-year-old Casimiro Ramirez in a shallow grave near the Rio Grande River.

The victim’s car was found in December with evidence of a homicide.

An autopsy indicates Ramirez, of Albuquerque, was shot.

Both suspects bonded out of jail Friday when agents sought to arrest them for Ramirez’s death.

Ronald Foster faces first-degree murder and other charges.

Renee Foster faces evidence tampering.
