MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - Two Memphis firefighters have been treated after battling a blaze at an apartment complex.

The Memphis Fire Department says in a news release that the firefighters were taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries Saturday. One firefighter suffered heat exhaustion and the other had elevated blood pressure.

Nearly 50 emergency responders went to the scene of the fire at a two-story apartment complex. The fire was brought under control within a half-hour. No one else was injured. The statement says eight families were displaced by the fire.
