BRINKLEY, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police and other law enforcement agencies have arrested 15 suspects following an 18-monthlong undercover investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics in Monroe County.

State police say the suspects include nine from Brinkley, five from Clarendon and one from Blackton.

Police say drugs and suspected stolen firearms and other stolen property were recovered during the arrests on Friday.

State police, Monroe County sheriff’s deputies, Brinkley police, Clarendon police, 1st Judicial District Drug Task Force officers and Arkansas Game and Fish Commission Officers took part in making the arrests.
