WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (AP) - West Valley police say a man was robbed at gunpoint and wounded during what he thought was a date with a woman he met online.

KSL-TV of Salt Lake City reports (https://bit.ly/1RUgVAS) the incident happened Saturday night.

According to police, the 18-year-old victim went to an apartment complex near 3200 West 3600 South for a date.

The victim spotted the woman he was supposed to see with another man.

Police Lt. Dalan Taylor says the male suspect pulled a gun on the victim and robbed him.

The victim then reached for the gun and a struggle ensued.

Taylor says the gun went off and a bullet grazed the victim’s head.

He was taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.

The two suspects fled and are still at large.
