ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - A western New York purse snatcher has been sentenced to at least 29 years in prison for attacks that injured a 94-year-old woman and another victim.

Thirty-year-old Adam Thomas was sentenced in Rochester Friday after being convicted of robbery in November.

Prosecutors say Thomas was on probation for attempted robbery when he attacked at least three women and took their purses in 2013 and 2015. Two of the women were injured during the robberies.

He was sentenced to 29 to 32 years in prison.
