FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) - The Larimer County authorities have identified the man they shot and killed in a mobile home park northeast of Fort Collins.

The man was identified by the county coroner’s office as 38-year-old Philip B. Salazar, of the Fort Collins area.

The Coloradoan in Fort Collins reports (https://noconow.co/1SkJyI2 ) that Salazar was shot multiple times.

The Laramie County Sheriff’s Office says the shooting occurred during a hostage situation that began about 11:30 p.m. Friday with a domestic disturbance call and ended about 2:30 a.m. Saturday.

Police say the woman was not injured. Details were released about what led up to the altercation or whether Salazar was armed.

The incident remains under investigation.
