BOSTON (AP) - U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Roberts will visit Boston this week to speak at New England Law.

The visit is part of the school’s annual Law Day celebration on Wednesday.

Roberts will meet with law students during classes and participate in a 30-minute question-and-answer session with Dean John O’Brien.

Roberts is expected to speak about his own legal career and the Supreme Court and offer advice for law students.

The question-and-answer session will be followed by a banquet for more than 1,000 people in the Massachusetts legal community.

New England Law has celebrated Law Day since 1970. Past speakers have included U.S. Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sandra Day O’Connor.
