MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot police are investigating a rash of business burglaries over the weekend.

Nine businesses were targeted in break-ins on Saturday. There was no immediate word on whether they might be related.

Businesses that were targeted included fast food restaurants, auto repair and sales facilities, a laundry, a financial services company, a glass business and a construction operation. Police did not say what all was taken.

In one of the burglaries, an employee interrupted the break-in and saw two people wearing hooded sweat shirts flee from the scene.
