POINT REYES, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say searchers looking for a missing person at a Marin County seashore have discovered the body of a man.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://sfg.ly/1PGGPGH ) Monday that the body has not yet been identified. The name and exact age of the missing man was not released.

The body was found at the Point Reyes National Seashore on a stretch of sand south of McClure’s Beach Sunday morning.

Point Reyes National Seashore spokesman John Dell’Osso says about 80 searchers, including park rangers and Marin County sheriff’s deputies, had been looking for a man in his 60s whose family had reported him missing on Saturday and whose empty car was found nearby, the newspaper reported.

More information is expected later Monday.
