MERRIMACK, N.H. (AP) - Police have confirmed the death of a Hudson man who was found in Merrimack several days after he was reported missing.

The Telegraph of Nashua reports (https://bit.ly/1TzNIbX) Lt. Denise Roy said investigators haven’t released an official cause of death for 44-year-old Scott Brewster, but a preliminary investigation indicates he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Brewster’s body was found Dec. 31 in a wooded area. Hudson police said he was last seen the afternoon of Dec. 28. His pickup truck was found the next day in Merrimack.
