SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls officials are searching for a dog that bit a woman’s face at a park in the city.

Sioux Falls Animal Control needs to verify the dog’s vaccinations. Officials responded to the reported bite on Saturday afternoon.

The dog is thought to be a female white and gray pit bull mix named Morgan that weighs about 50 pounds. The collarless dog bit a woman at the park as she bent down to ready her dog to leave.

Officials say anyone with information about the incident should contact Animal Control.
