PITTSGROVE, N.J. (AP) - State police say a southern New Jersey man intentionally slammed into another vehicle with two young children in his car.

Authorities said Thursday that 31-year-old Luis Molina-Munoz’s Honda Civic struck another vehicle on Sunday afternoon in Pittsgrove. Investigators say a 1-year-old and a 4-year-old were in the car and weren’t properly secured in their seats.

It’s unclear why he attacked the other vehicle. The Bridgeton man is charged with assault by auto, terroristic threats and related offenses.

He’s being held in Cumberland County Jail on $200,000 bail.

It’s unclear if he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
