HURON, S.D. (AP) - Huron police say they have made two arrests in Sunday’s theft of $1,860 in $20 bills from a local convenience store.

A man wearing a black head covering and gray hoodie entered the Eastside Corner Pantry just after 1 a.m. Sunday and was in the store about 12 seconds. Police say they posted video and still images to social media and were able to identify a suspect.

Police say they charged Jordan Scheel of Huron with grand theft, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. His girlfriend, Alexandria Ackerman, was charged with misprision of a felony. Attorney information for the suspects was not immediately available.
