CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man faces up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possessing child pornography.

Federal prosecutors say 28-eight-year-old James Bednarcyk of Claremont, New Hampshire, entered the guilty plea Thursday in U.S. District Court in Concord.

Authorities say his home was searched and a computer was seized in April 2014, in an investigation led by the Vermont Attorney General’s office.

Federal prosecutors in New Hampshire say the computer contained a “substantial number” of images and videos of child pornography.

Bednarcyk will be sentenced in April.

Claremont is located in western New Hampshire, just a few miles from the Vermont border.
