BERLIN, N.H. (AP) - A new partnership will provide White Mountains Community College students a pathway to bachelor’s degrees in homeland security and computer science at the University of New Hampshire Manchester.

The partnership will allow students in the criminal justice and information technology associate programs at the community college in Berlin to transition into the bachelor’s program at UNH Manchester at the same cost as their current tuition.

Officials say the arrangement brings the state’s flagship public education institution to northern New Hampshire, and will expand opportunities for higher education, career advancement and economic growth in the North Country.

The partnership is supported by the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation.
