OCEANSIDE, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a man has died in an industrial accident at a Long Island recycling business.

The man was described as in his 40s. Newsday (https://nwsdy.li/1OCUHRt ) reports the man become stuck in the machinery at a concrete recycler called IROC Industries in Oceanside on Thursday.

Nassau County police say it appears the man got caught in a conveyor belt. They did not immediately identify him.

A person answering the phone at IROC Industries hung up on a reporter.

Police say there were no reports of prior accidents at the business.
