CINCINNATI (AP) - Police say a man has been indicted in the hit-and-run death of a woman taking part in an annual run-walk event in Cincinnati.

Police say 24-year-old Thomas Stidhum is charged in Hamilton County with four counts, including aggravated vehicular homicide and vehicular homicide. He was still at large Wednesday.

Authorities believe he drove onto the sidewalk and fatally struck 57-year-old Cathy Chatfield on the morning of Dec. 6.

Police say Chatfield was participating in the 38th annual Seven Hills Run when she was hit. They say the driver ripped the license plates off his car and fled the scene.

Police say Stidhum also is wanted on unrelated charges of domestic violence and drug abuse.
