RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Republican presidential hopeful Marco Rubio is rolling out more North Carolina endorsements in advance of his first public campaign appearance in the state in four months.

The Florida senator’s campaign listed Thursday another 10 General Assembly members who were supporting him, including House Majority Leader Mike Hager of Rutherfordton and Speaker Pro Tempore Paul Stam of Apex. Rubio previously announced Rep. Jason Saine of Lincolnton and Sen. Andrew Brock of Mocksville as state campaign co-chairs. Conservative donor Art Pope also has endorsed Rubio.

Rubio is holding a rally Saturday afternoon at the North Carolina State Fairgrounds in Raleigh. He’ll also attend a fundraising event Saturday night at a Raleigh home.

The North Carolina primary is March 15.
