SHORELINE, Wash. (AP) - Fire officials say two people have been found dead after house fires in Shoreline and Tacoma.

KIRO-TV reports (https://is.gd/fIrh6U ) that a neighbor called to report a fire near Fremont Avenue North and North 201st Street at about 5 a.m. Friday. Firefighters said they found a man in his 30s dead in a basement bedroom. The man’s dog was also killed.

Firefighters don’t yet know what caused the fire.

In Tacoma, an overnight fire broke out in a home near East 40th Street and Spokane Street. A person was found dead there as well, but no details about the victim have been released.
