BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A site plan for a 142-unit apartment complex that would be built in downtown Baton Rouge has been submitted to the city-parish Planning Commission.

The Advocate reports (bit.ly/1ZeMY2F) John O. Hearin, who owns several downtown properties and parking lots, is proposing building The Lofts at 6C, a six-story complex.

Along with 58 one-bedroom and 84 two-bedroom units, the development will include a clubhouse, swimming pool, landscaped courtyards and 2,859 square feet of commercial space.

The commission is set to vote on the plans for The Lofts at 6C at its Feb. 15 meeting.
