DIBBLE, Okla. (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a person was found dead on a highway in McClain County.

Sheriff Don Hewett says the body was discovered Thursday night on State Highway 76 about 7 miles south of Dibble. The sheriff says authorities are treating the case as a homicide.

Authorities say a man and a woman are in custody in connection with the death, but no names have been released.

The sheriff says authorities are also investigating a vehicle crash that happened about a mile away from where the body was discovered.
