NORTH BEND, Ore. (AP) - A Coos County man is facing an attempted murder charge in connection with a fire that completely destroyed a camping trailer in North Bend.

The Register-Guard reports (https://goo.gl/0vGq13 ) that police say 31-year-old Todd Christian Sanders is accused of igniting the trailer while two people, a 24-year-old woman and 31-year-old man, were inside sleeping.

The female victim told police they had awoke to an odor of gasoline coming from outside the trailer.

After the two made it out of the trailer, police say a fight broke out between the male victim and Sanders while the camper became engulfed in flames.

Police say two nearby homes were also damaged in the blaze. No injuries were reported.
