ST. LOUIS (AP) - Prosecutors have charged one man and are considering charging another in the robbery of two teens who lost a cellphone and their motorized two-wheel scooters, known as a hoverboards, in the attack near their St. Louis home.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports (https://bit.ly/1OE58UD ) that 23-year-old Darryon Rowell is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery, two counts of armed criminal action and one count of resisting arrest by fleeing.

St. Louis County police Sgt. Brian Schellman says he and an accomplice robbed the boys, aged 15 and 16, near Interstate 270 on Dec. 30.

Police used the cellphone to track the suspects to a Motel 6 on Dec. 31. The suspects took flight and were arrested after a police chase.
