COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham is meeting with reporters in South Carolina to talk about his failed bid for the presidency and major issues he expects the nation will face this year.

Graham’s Senate office says the Republican is holding a pen and pad briefing with reporters at his offices in Columbia on Friday. Graham says he’ll meet with radio reporters afterward.

Graham ended his 2016 campaign for president just before Christmas, saying he remains committed to working to achieve security for the American people and helping the GOP expand its base.

In a video, the only candidate from one of the four early voting states told supporters he was proud of his campaign, noting his emphasis on national security and improving the nation’s balance sheet.
