OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - Firefighters are working to extinguish a fire in Omaha’s downtown Old Market following an explosion at a popular restaurant.

The explosion occurred Saturday afternoon at M’s Pub. No serious injuries from the explosion or subsequent fire have been reported.

The Omaha World-Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1PPxgTK ) that several people called 911 to report smelling natural gas shortly before the explosion.

The World-Herald says three people with minor injuries were taken to a hospital.

Officials evacuated the building that houses the restaurant and several other shops, as well as nearby buildings.
