CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP) - A Waterloo man has been sentenced to nearly 12 years in federal prison for having child pornography.

The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier reports (https://bit.ly/1PksevS ) that 58-year-old Ricky James Funke was sentenced Thursday to 11 years and three months in prison. There is no parole in the federal prison system.

Judge Linda Reade also ordered Funke to undergo eight years of supervision following his release from prison.

Funke pleaded guilty last year to one count of possessing child pornography.

Prosecutors say Funke used the Internet and peer-to-peer file sharing networks to download child pornography, which was found on two computers and an external hard drive. Prosecutor say Funke had more than 450 child porn videos, including those showing children tied up.
