MENDENHALL, Miss. (AP) - All three inmates who escaped from Simpson County Jail in June are back in custody.

Simpson County Sheriff Donald O’Cain tells local news outlets that authorities arrested the third and final inmate, 43-year-old Johnny Lee Taylor, Saturday night inside a mobile home.

Taylor’s arrest came after officials received a tip on his whereabouts. He was taken into custody without incident and was charged with escape, house and auto burglaries. Three other people were charged with aiding and abetting. It’s unclear if they have attorneys.

Taylor, 26-year-old Shawn Bratcher and 26-year-old Russell Williams escaped from jail on June 22. Williams was captured shortly after the escape and Bratcher was caught last week in Jefferson Davis County.
