NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities responding to a report of people overdosing on a street corner in Brooklyn say more than two dozen people were hospitalized.

It happened near Broadway and Myrtle Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant Tuesday morning.

It wasn’t clear what drugs the victims were ingesting but police say some of the victims were smoking K2, often known as synthetic marijuana.

The Daily News (https://bit.ly/29Najpy ) says a woman called 911 to report that men were vomiting and urinating after smoking the drug.

Police say none of the victims appeared to have life-threatening injuries.
