DEARBORN, Mich. (AP) - A pair of events next year in suburban Detroit will bring together leaders in the aerospace and automotive manufacturing industries.

Organizers announced this week that Penton’s Aviation Week Network and SpeedNews conferences will be held in Michigan. They include the 5th Annual Aerospace Manufacturing Conference on May 2-3 followed by the inaugural AeroAuto Conference on May 4.

Events are planned at The Henry Hotel in Dearborn.

Tony Vernaci, vice president of global business development for the Michigan Economic Development Corp., notes in a statement that: “Between talent, engineering and manufacturing, there are strong ties between the automotive and aerospace industries.”
