LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say a body found in the Arkansas River near Little Rock is that of a man reported missing during the weekend.

Pulaski County Sheriff’s Capt. Carl Minden said Wednesday that the body is that of 55-year-old Randy Tims Sr. Minden says Tims had been reported missing by his family on Saturday.

A police report says deputies were notified early Tuesday that a fisherman found the body shortly after midnight in a low water creek near the Interstate 430 bridge.

The report says the body was sent to the state medical examiner’s office to determine the cause of death.
