McALESTER, Okla. (AP) - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a McAlester man was killed when he was struck by a car on U.S. 69 near McAlester.
The OHP says 25-year-old Timothy Patty died after being struck by the car just north of McAlester at about 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The report says Patty was in a northbound lane of traffic when he was hit. The driver and a passenger in the car were not injured.
The report says the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time.
