BAHAMA, N.C. (AP) - Durham County officials have released the name of a fisherman whose body was found in Little River Lake earlier this week.

Officials told local media outlets that 55-year-old Carnell Bell was one of two men who went fishing Sunday in the water near Bahama.

The other man was rescued by another person at the lake..

Bell’s body was found Tuesday morning in about 60 feet of water.

Sheriff’s deputies say neither of the men was wearing a life jacket when the canoe flipped.
