HAYWARD, Calif. (AP) - Two suspects are in custody after a man driving a pickup truck was shot and killed while waiting for a traffic light in a Bay Area intersection.

KTVU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/29Vlz03 ) that the shooting occurred Wednesday afternoon in an unincorporated Alameda County area near Hayward. A man believed to be the shooter and a woman believed to be an accomplice have been taken into custody.

Investigators say a gunman approached the victim while he was at the light and fired shots from a handgun. A man matching the suspect’s description was found less than a mile from the crime scene.

The Alameda County Coroner’s office late Wednesday still had not released the victim’s name, as they tried to notify the victim’s family.
