KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - The Montana Highway Patrol has released the name of a 24-year-old woman who died of injuries suffered in a single-vehicle crash near Libby Dam.

The patrol says Christina Benfield of Libby died after the crash, which was reported at about 8 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers say the vehicle, which was being driven by a 25-year-old Libby man, went off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail. The back of the vehicle slid sideways and it struck a tree, causing the vehicle to roll into another tree.

Dispatchers say neither the driver nor Benefield were wearing seat belts.

The crash is still being investigated.
