Playboy’s 2015 Playmate of the Year, Dani Mathers, is facing backlash after she secretly took a picture of an undressed woman inside a gym locker room and published it on Snapchat.

Ms. Mathers posted two public photos mocking the woman, Mediaite reported.

According to TMZ, one photo showed the naked woman with a caption reading, “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either.”

The next photo showed Ms. Mathers snickering with her hand covering her mouth.

Social media users were quick to condemn the model for body-shaming the woman and invading her privacy.

Mike Drucker, a writer for “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” tweeted:

“‘Loser, get your life together and join a gym!’

‘Okay, I have joined a gym.’

‘Check out this loser at the gym!’”

Ms. Mathers‘ Twitter account was disabled by Thursday afternoon.

In a series of videos on Snapchat, Ms. Mathers only acknowledged the first photo, saying she posted it “accidentally.”

“I have chosen to do what I do for a living because I love the female body and I know that body shaming is wrong and that’s not what I’m about, that’s not the type of person that I am,” she said. “That photo was taken to be a personal conversation with a girlfriend, and because I am new to Snapchat, I didn’t realize that I had posted it and that was a huge mistake.”

TMZ didn’t buy that excuse, writing that it “makes ZERO sense, since SHE wrote the caption.”

Mediaite had similar sentiments: “It’s very difficult to post not one, but two photos accidentally to your public story if your intention is to send to a friend,” wrote Lindsey Ellefson. “In my opinion, one photo might slip through, but the average Snapchat user would realize that quickly and delete it, not upload a second photo as a follow-up.”
