PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Hazy, hot and humid conditions persist across Pennsylvania.

An excessive heat warning is in effect from noon Thursday until 8 p.m. Friday for Philadelphia, Delaware, eastern Chester, eastern Montgomery and lower Bucks counties. There is a heat advisory for Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, western Chester, western Montgomery and upper Bucks counties.

Forecasters say temperatures in the 90s will combine with humidity to make it feel like it is 100 degrees of higher.

Officials advise limiting outdoor activity and drink plenty of water.

Isolated severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday afternoon and evening in central Pennsylvania.
