SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (AP) - Sioux Falls police say a 50-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old boy five times with a small screwdriver.

The incident happened about 12:30 p.m. Thursday in downtown Sioux Falls. The victim suffered non-life threatening puncture and scratch wounds to his chest, back and arm. He was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities say the incident happened after an argument between the suspect and a mutual acquaintance of the victim and suspect.

The man was arrested for aggravated assault and an outstanding warrant.
