MILWAUKEE (AP) - Milwaukee’s police chief will take part in a prime-time discussion on race relations and policing led by President Barack Obama.

The town hall meeting Thursday night will air on ABC and ESPN. Chief Edward Flynn is among law enforcement leaders who will join the families of black men killed by police, families of officers killed in the line of duty and clergy.

The discussion is a more public version of a conversation the president held Wednesday in private with leaders from police departments, civil rights groups and the Black Lives Matter movement.
