IRVINGTON, N.Y. (AP) - Suburban New York police say they pulled two men from the Hudson River after their sailboat capsized.

The Journal News reports (https://lohud.us/29Qhv2C ) authorities were called to river near Irvington around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday after hearing a distress call over a U.S. Coast Guard radio.

Westchester County police found the men wearing life vests and clinging to the side of the capsized sailboat. Officers say they pulled the pair form the river and were able to keep the sailboat from sinking.

The men weren’t injured.
