NEW YORK (AP) - The NYPD is searching for the man who they say beat a 75-year-old man unconscious and a woman who stood by as the man’s lookout in Manhattan.

It happened at about 2:15 p.m. Wednesday. Police say the first suspect punched the victim in the back of the head and knocked him to the ground before kicking him in the face and rendering him unconscious.

Investigators say the second suspect stood by as a lookout until the pair took off.

The victim suffered a laceration to the head and was taken to Lenox Hill Hospital in stable condition.
