SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) - One of the five people injured in a DUI crash over the weekend in Spokane is still in intensive care.

KREM-TV reports (https://bit.ly/29TXfxR ) that the crash happened Saturday night when five people were hit by a drunk driver on at Sullivan Road and Sprague Avenue.

Mark Coladonato is still in intensive care. He suffered at least nine broken bones.

Coladonato and his friends were driving back from Northern Quest Casino when a drunk driver hit them at 75 mph.

One of the friends said another victim may be paralyzed.

Court records say the driver who caused the DUI crash was high on methamphetamine at the time. Brooke Benton faces vehicular assault charges.

Benton is being held on $250,000 bond. Officials say she originally pretended to be one of the victims of the crash.
