SELMA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say they’ve charged a Central California man with using his car to commit murder.

Fresno County Sheriff’s spokesman Tony Botty said Monday that deputies arrested 31-year-old Saul Sepulveda. He’s charged with killing 38-year-old Sigifredo Gomez in Fresno County.

Botti says Gomez was driving with a woman and pulled off to the side of the road. He got out and walked around the car when Sepulveda rammed him.

Authorities say Sepulveda had dated the woman in the victim’s car, providing a possible motive.

Botti says the relationship between the woman and the Gomez is unclear.

Investigators later found Sepulveda parked in the same car that they believe he used to kill the other man.

Sepulveda or an attorney representing him could not be reached to comment on the charge.
