RIVERHEAD, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities on Long Island say they’ve arrested more than a dozen people accused of selling and distributing heroin and cocaine.

Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota and members of a drug task force are holding a news conference Tuesday to announce the arrests of members of two drug rings.

Investigators say 14 people, including three members of the Bloods street gang, have been arrested so far and more arrests are expected.

Authorities say multiple kilograms of cocaine and heroin have been seized in the investigation. In one instance, police found $95,000 in cash hidden in a trap in a vehicle’s console and an aquarium stand in an alleged dealer’s home.
