BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Idaho County authorities say they have recovered a vehicle that two women had been riding in when they crashed into the Salmon River in May.

KTVB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/29RqH3G ) that the body of 21-year-old Tiffany Maupin had been recovered on May 28, a week after the crash. Authorities have not yet located 20-year-old Cayla Danenberg’s body.

The sheriff’s office says river conditions on Sunday had allowed for a dive team to remove the vehicle from the water.

Police say the vehicle went into the fast-running river on May 17 about five miles north of Riggins.
