PITTSBURGH (AP) - A western Pennsylvania jury has convicted a Pittsburgh man in the killings of two men who were shot to death during a drug deal last year.

Twenty-two-year-old John Williams was found guilty Monday of two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of 28-year-old Jamie Romesburg and 25-year-old Kenneth Beckel.

Authorities say the two victims were in a Chevrolet Silverado when witnesses reported hearing three or four shots. Romesburg died at the scene and Beckel died at Allegheny General Hospital.

Williams will be sentenced on Oct. 19. The conviction carries a mandatory penalty of life behind bars without the possibility of parole.
